Circumnavigation---Started:  January 2001    Completed:  May 2003

The Cosmos, a 45 foot Prout catamaran, departed Annapolis, Maryland on January 1, 2001.  The circumnavigation took two and one half years. It ended back in Annapolis on May 10, 2003. The  permanent crew of the Cosmos  consisted of Captain, Joe Dorr and First Mate, George Hotz. Others joined the crew for various portions of the sail.
