The Cosmos Adventure - The Plan - Leg 1
The Cosmos set sail on June 23, 2001 from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She sailed through the Panama Canal, into the Pacific Ocean to New Zealand with stops in Panama City, the Galapagos Islands, Marquises, Tahiti, Bora Bora, South Cook Islands, and Tonga, arriving in New Zealand on November 20. The Cosmos was moored in New Zealand during the typhoon season.
